About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Develop, monitor, and track EHS metrics, including observations, Injury Free events, corrective actions, and monthly, quarterly, and annual targets
- Manage health, safety, and environmental injury and incident cases through investigation, care, reporting, follow-up, and resolution
- Manage Workers Compensation claims and liaise with operations, HR, EHS, payroll, employees, third-party administrators, attorneys, and clinics
- Collect and report EHS program and metric data for tracking, compliance, reporting, and management reviews
- Oversee Medical Assistant and Telemed programs, including training, usage, and practices
- Support audit compliance testing and self-assessments, including training, tracking, and reporting
- Monitor and respond to global EHS inquiries and requests
- Maintain and support EHS SharePoint sites, systems, and tools
- Support EHS programs, projects, and initiatives to promote a proactive safety culture
- Report directly to the Global EHS Director and interact with corporate, business-unit, and location-level internal customers
- Perform other duties assigned by the EHS Director
Requirements
What you’ll need- Exceptional written, verbal, and listening communication skills
- Analytical ability with accuracy and verification
- Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information
- Ability to multitask, prioritize in a fast-paced environment, and follow up timely
- Highly organized and detail oriented with excellent time management skills
- Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint), MS SharePoint, Teams, and Power BI
- Information Technology experience covering functional system support is beneficial
- Working knowledge of customer service principles and practices
- Working knowledge of SQL, VBA, and Power BI
- Basic understanding of EHS applications, processes, and technology is beneficial but not required
- 1–3 years’ experience working in a manufacturing environment preferable but not required
- Legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship
- Must meet U.S. person status requirements under ITAR: U.S. Citizen, U.S. Permanent Resident, Political Asylee, or Refugee
