About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Perform month-end closing and forecasting activities for the Headquarters location
Provide monthly and quarterly financial forecasting updates for the global business unit
Prepare, consolidate, and review Quarterly Business Reviews and Monthly Forecast Presentations
Prepare EBITDA bridges explaining actual performance versus forecast and forecasts versus prior periods
Publish monthly forecasting requirements to locations and consolidate/analyze forecast submissions
Publish monthly dashboards targeting cost-per-wheel data for actuals and forecasts
Provide analysis supporting strategic and tactical decisions for Howmet Wheel Systems and improving profitability and cash flow generation
Manage business-unit compliance efforts, ensuring locations complete monthly tasks and maintain sustainable audit performance
Coordinate communications and scheduling between the Business Unit, Internal and External Auditors, and Corporate Accounting

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor’s Degree in Business, preferably concentration in Finance or Accounting
7-10 years of experience in Financial Analysis
Proficient in Microsoft Excel & PowerPoint
MBA or CPA preferred
Compliance experience preferred
Oracle / Hyperion experience preferred
Ability to work accurately and efficiently with tight turnaround times
Ability to work long hours, primarily evenings, during certain month-end and forecasting periods
