About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Lead the team supporting Oracle Cloud Human Capital Management, Time and Attendance, third-party payroll systems, and corporate application interfaces
- Report to the Sr. IT Corporate Applications Manager
- Provide guidance to customers to improve effectiveness, efficiency, and capability across business application areas
- Build work groups to solve problems and create solutions
- Provide HCM technology advice and counsel and monitor technology trends
- Lead, manage, and engage teams; act as an escalation point and remove barriers
- Develop and manage operating budgets and approve project budgets
- Foster relationships with organizations, teams, customers, suppliers, and peers to deliver business solutions
- Develop support models and maximize their benefits
- Lead benchmarking and process improvement initiatives
- Communicate complex issues clearly to business and organizational leadership
- Develop and comply with Howmet standards and controls, including audit self-assessment
- Partner with vendors and central procurement on strategies and commercial planning
- Conduct coaching, counseling, and talent management activities
- Sponsor and lead discovery, planning, and implementation of process improvements
- Analyze customer processes to identify gaps and improvement opportunities
- Align programs with CIO Lead Team and Business Segment IT Leaders
- Manage geographically dispersed teams across time zones and languages
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor's Degree in Information Systems or Computer Science from an accredited institution
- Minimum 7 years’ experience in Information Technology
- Minimum 5 years’ project management experience
- Legally authorized to work in the United States
- Visa sponsorship is not available
- Working knowledge of Cloud HCM solutions; Oracle Cloud Human Capital Management is a plus
- AWS, Azure, or Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) fundamentals for hybrid deployments
- Knowledge of governance and change management procedures in an IT environment
- Familiarity with Time and Attendance processes and supporting tools and applications
- Broad knowledge of Human Resource business processes, including employee records, time tracking, learning management, compensation, and payroll
- Basic understanding of website construction, design, web development toolsets, and underlying technical stack
- Proven experience managing employees and contractors in onshore and offshore support models
- Experience with vendor management for software and service providers
- Knowledge of Oracle DBMS, Linux, SQL Server, .NET, web applications, HTML, XML, CSS, and content management systems
- Understanding of ISO 27001, GDPR, and SOC 2
- Experience configuring Oracle Identity Management
- Ability to build and maintain strong customer partnerships
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and diverse customer bases effectively
