About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Support the management of the department’s project portfolio.
- Lead initiatives of various types, including enterprise systems, regulatory projects, and process improvements, within the PMO governance framework.
- Coordinate external vendors and collaborate with business teams.
- Plan, execute, and control end-to-end IT projects, covering scope, schedule, risks, and quality.
- Monitor vendors and consulting firms during execution, ensuring delivery, deadlines, and quality requirements are met.
- Lead status meetings with business teams and vendors, documenting decisions, action items, and risks.
- Keep project status reports up to date in accordance with PMO standards, including status, completion percentage, risks, and upcoming milestones.
- Prepare executive communications and presentations for leadership and committees.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Experience in IT project management.
- Experience with SAP projects.
- Experience managing external vendors and consulting firms.
- Proficiency in planning and control tools (MS Project or equivalent) and advanced Excel.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to lead meetings with business stakeholders and leadership.
- Project management certification (PMP, PMI-ACP, or equivalent) is a plus.
