About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Own the architecture of complex Microsoft Azure engagements from discovery through implementation
  • Translate business and technical requirements into secure, scalable solutions
  • Architect enterprise-scale Azure Landing Zones aligned with Cloud Adoption Framework and Well-Architected principles
  • Lead large-scale cloud migration and modernization programs through discovery, assessment, migration planning, cutover, stabilization, and hypercare
  • Design Azure platform and application patterns across compute, networking, security, identity, storage, and application services
  • Architect Zero Trust identity and security solutions and map controls to compliance frameworks
  • Build reusable Infrastructure as Code and automation patterns using Terraform and/or Bicep, Azure DevOps and/or GitHub Actions, PowerShell, Azure CLI, and Python
  • Design observability, resilience, and FinOps solutions, including RTO/RPO validation, tagging standards, reservation and Savings Plans strategies, and optimization roadmaps
  • Lead client discovery workshops, design sessions, Well-Architected Reviews, proof-of-concept builds, and Architecture Decision Records
  • Present architectural options and trade-offs to technical and business stakeholders
  • Mentor engineers through design reviews, pairing, and code reviews
  • Contribute to pre-sales through solution scoping, proposal development, SOW definition, and engagement estimates
  • Troubleshoot escalated technical challenges and collaborate with clients and delivery teams

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 8+ years of hands-on experience architecting and delivering Azure solutions across networking, compute, storage, identity, and security
  • Proven delivery of enterprise Azure Landing Zones with management group design, Azure Policy, RBAC frameworks, and platform automation
  • Proven experience leading Azure migration programs, including on-premises, cloud-to-cloud, or application modernization engagements, with responsibility for assessment, wave planning, cutover, and stabilization
  • Solid Infrastructure as Code experience using Terraform and/or Bicep
  • CI/CD experience using Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions
  • Proficiency with PowerShell and Azure CLI
  • Strong Azure networking expertise, including hub-and-spoke or Virtual WAN architectures, Azure Firewall, Application Gateway/WAF, Private Link, and ExpressRoute/VPN
  • Experience with Microsoft Entra ID, Conditional Access, PIM, hybrid identity, and Zero Trust concepts
  • Familiarity with Defender for Cloud, Microsoft Sentinel, Key Vault, and applicable compliance frameworks
  • Experience with Azure Virtual Desktop, including host pool design, FSLogix profiles, Scaling Plans, and monitoring
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills
  • Excellent written, verbal, presentation, and client-facing skills
  • Ability to work independently, take ownership, and translate complex goals into actionable outcomes
  • Experience with tenant-to-tenant Microsoft 365 migrations, Intune, Exchange Online, SharePoint/OneDrive, Teams, Purview, Copilot readiness and governance, Copilot Studio, Microsoft Foundry, AKS/Kubernetes, cloud data platforms, and pre-sales or consulting delivery is preferred
  • Microsoft certifications such as AZ-305, AZ-104, AZ-500, SC-100, AZ-400, AZ-700, and Microsoft 365 certifications are preferred
