About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Serve as the Functional Solution Architect for Dynamics 365 Supply Chain implementations
- Lead successful delivery of Supply Chain Management workstreams across complex client engagements
- Lead solution strategy and advisory activities during the analysis phase of D365 Finance & Operations implementations
- Facilitate Business Process Analysis workshops to understand current-state processes, identify improvements, and define future-state solutions
- Develop Business Process Analysis documentation, Solution Blueprint documents, and Fit/Gap assessments
- Estimate enterprise-scale projects, including resources, timelines, and required skillsets
- Provide architectural guidance through design, development, testing, and deployment
- Establish and oversee testing and issue-resolution processes, focusing on functional architecture and integration points
- Review and approve functional specifications, unit and system test scripts, deployment plans, and readiness activities
- Ensure training strategies and materials support client adoption, use, and maintenance of deployed solutions
- Act as a trusted advisor and escalation point for support issues during and after implementation projects
- Travel as client and business needs require
- Mentor and guide junior consultants on implementation best practices and delivery approaches
Requirements
What you’ll need- 8+ years of combined experience delivering Microsoft Dynamics 365 Supply Chain Management implementations, application deployments, and architecture for complex enterprise systems
- Experience across the full project lifecycle, including assessments, analysis, business case development, envisioning, planning, deployment, and benefits realization
- Strong knowledge of ERP concepts including supply chain, manufacturing, planning, production, and distribution
- Experience translating business and functional requirements into scalable solution architectures
- Hands-on experience leading multi-phase, multi-country, enterprise-wide implementations
- Proven track record of delivering business value through information systems initiatives at the executive level
- Ability to serve as a trusted advisor and influential voice in key business and technology decisions
- Ability to operate between high-level solution architecture and hands-on delivery activities throughout all phases of an implementation project
- WMS experience is a plus
- Ability to articulate architectural differences between solution approaches and evaluate integration strategies across multiple platforms
- Experience providing leadership in consulting engagements and building trusted client relationships
- Experience forming, leading, and collaborating with virtual teams across large, matrixed organizations
- Ability to manage competing priorities, communicate commitments clearly, and drive accountability
- Ability to solve complex business and technology challenges with creative, practical solutions
- Ability to mentor and guide junior consultants on implementation best practices and delivery approaches
