About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Support the trustees in developing a clearly articulated strategy for this new venture
  • Oversee operations, ensuring that efficient systems and processes are developed and setting up the entity for future scale
  • Oversee management of the property purchase pipeline, ensuring buildings and congregations undergo necessary due diligence while moving quickly
  • Maintain a pipeline of congregations and churches that provide opportunities for donor investment
  • Manage two part-time staff members alongside other advisors from within the HTB Group
  • Support fundraising, write proposals, and ensure thanking and reporting to donors takes place
  • Act as the senior point of contact within the HTB Group, ensuring that the entity works well with other areas of the group, especially Group Professional Services

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Experienced manager/leader – you will have held previous senior positions and be confident operating at board level
  • Excellent communication skills, written and verbal
  • Knowledge and understanding of the church context in the UK
  • Fundraising experience, including the writing and submission of proposals, and the negotiation of grant agreements
