About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Support Account Executives and Account Managers
  • Create proposals
  • Review policies
  • Perform online rating through carrier platforms
  • Review and issue Certificates of Insurance
  • Review holder contracts
  • Perform data entry
  • Process MVRs according to established agency guidelines
  • Process endorsements
  • Pull documentation including loss runs, policy information and endorsements
  • Adhere to agency systems, procedures and state regulations
  • Provide essential support when team members are absent
  • Assume other responsibilities as requested by the supervisor

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • AA and/or college degree preferred
  • 1-year experience in insurance company or agency preferred
  • Property and Casualty Insurance License preferred, or willingness to obtain within 30 days of employment
  • Demonstrated proficiency with computer systems, including MS Office and Applied Epic CRM
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Ability to work in a positive team environment and collaborative culture
  • Ability to take direction and follow instructions effectively while demonstrating initiative and attention to detail
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, rapidly changing environment with flexibility, efficiency and organization
  • Broad knowledge of insurance products and usages and ability to work independently
  • Must work in the office a minimum of three days weekly at the designated location
