About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Process agency-bill invoicing transactions for Personal Lines and Commercial Lines accounts
Execute routine billing transactions including new business, renewals, and endorsements within Epic
Coordinate premium financing transactions
Complete invoicing for agency bill items for the designated region
Enter transactions in Epic to match carrier documents and ensure proper coding
Send carrier invoices to accounting and attach generated invoices to HBO activities
Monitor and manage HBO activities assigned via Epic
Process Normal priority activities same day when submitted before 2:00 p.m. or within 24 hours
Process Urgent priority activities within 3 business hours
Meet productivity targets for activities, error rate, and NOC reduction
Participate in weekly team rotation across specialized focus areas
Review Servicer activities for completeness and return incomplete submissions
Partner with Servicers to ensure complete billings
Review account setup in Epic
Communicate needed adjustments or information to Servicers
Maintain accurate billing documentation in activity notes and attachments
Double-check policy number, effective dates, PPE and ICO codes, commission percentage, and Pr/Br coding
Adhere to HUB International and HBO requirements and policies supporting SOX compliance
Escalate billing exceptions and complex issues to Senior Billing Specialists

Requirements

What you’ll need

Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and problem-solving skills
Excellent communication skills and a proactive, positive attitude
Ability to plan, organize, and execute independently
Ability to manage high volumes of tasks efficiently within a structured environment
Ability to meet productivity and quality targets
Associate or Bachelor’s Degree (preferred)
1–2 years of previous accounting or billing experience (preferred)
Experience with Applied Systems Epic (insurance broker management system) (preferred)
Previous experience in insurance billing, insurance account management, or financial services (preferred)
Insurance Broker License (preferred)
