About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Own the reporting and analytics strategy for business lines, including retention, new business, and year-over-year performance
Oversee the design, governance, and adoption of Power BI dashboards
Ensure leadership and finance teams have accurate, decision-ready data
Manage monthly and quarterly analysis of financial metrics, including organic growth, new business trends, revenue forecasts, and year-end projections
Present recommendations to senior leaders
Establish data standards and reconciliation processes across source systems
Champion automation and process improvement across reporting workflows
Partner with regional and business line leadership on planning cycles, special projects, and strategic initiatives
Translate executive stakeholder business questions into analytics priorities and measurable outcomes

Requirements

What you’ll need

5+ years of progressive experience in business analytics, business intelligence, or data analysis, ideally within insurance
Applied Epic experience required
Expert proficiency in Power BI and advanced Excel
Working knowledge of Python and SQL
Proven ability to translate complex data into clear, actionable recommendations for executive audiences
Track record of building automated, scalable reporting processes and strong data governance practices
Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills across finance, operations, and senior leadership
Post-secondary degree in Analytics, Economics, Finance, or a related field
