About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Handle inbound calls from customers and insurance agents
- Conduct outbound calls to insurance agents to request required insurance information
- Guide customers and agents through the insurance documentation process
- Educate customers on insurance documentation required for loan agreements
- Resolve inquiries and complete loan transactions
- Maintain customer privacy and confidentiality
- Key in and validate data to update loan records
- Match insurance documents to loan records
- Train on additional supplemental processes based on business needs
- Adhere to daily workflow schedules and production goals
- Participate in training sessions, team meetings, department meetings, and one-on-one meetings
- Collaborate on assignments and special projects
- Perform other assigned responsibilities
Requirements
What you’ll need- High attention to detail is required
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- 10 key typing: Minimum 32 WPM
- Reading comprehension: Understanding company manuals step-by-step
- Working knowledge of Windows computer environment and Office software
- Ability to understand policy forms and coverage descriptions
- Organizational skills required
- Willingness to attend educational classes if desired
- High-speed internet meeting speed requirements
- Cell phone
- Dedicated home office and/or quiet workspace
- A willingness to learn
- Must be able to work the required Monday-Friday schedule, including the permanent 12:30pm-9:00pm CT shift
- Licensing or certification: None required
