About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Support one or more Account Executives
- Provide daily customer service
- Facilitate renewals and new business
- Collaborate with a Technical Assistant and/or Assistant Portfolio Manager
- Collaborate with a marketing team to market insurance accounts
- Provide prompt and professional service to meet clients’ daily needs
- Maintain thorough documentation for each account in accordance with HUB and Autorité des marchés financiers (AMF) standards
- Manage activities related to client accounts
- Participate in preparing placement strategies
- Prepare and submit applications to insurers
- Prepare insurer quotations, client proposals, binders, and insurance summaries
- Conduct the necessary follow-ups with insurers and clients
- Verify the accuracy of insurance policies and endorsements, and follow up on required corrections
- Draft instructions for certificates of insurance and ensure their compliance
- Draft billing instructions
- Ensure accurate billing
- Assist with the diligent follow-up of accounts receivable
- Correct account discrepancies
Requirements
What you’ll need- College diploma
- Valid AMF licence – Commercial Property and Casualty Insurance
- Advanced proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite
- Minimum of 5 years of experience
- Excellent spoken and written French
- Proficiency in English, essential for communications and transactions with our international clients
- Strong attention to detail
