About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Deliver Speech Language Pathology services to school-based children nationwide using telehealth technology and proprietary tools
- Collaborate with school instructors and experienced clinical mentors
- Provide telehealth services to a diverse population of school-aged children
- Work on a flexible schedule
- Develop skills, career, and expertise in a supportive team-based environment
- Participate in IEP and team meetings
- Serve as a case manager or process coordinator
- Prepare progress reports and complete Medicaid billing when necessary
Requirements
What you’ll need- Able to commit to at least 20 hours per week and up to 40 hours per week
- Active, unrestricted, valid SLP license in the state of residence, in good standing
- Current ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competency (CCC)
- Fluent in reading, writing, and speaking Spanish
- Full-time resident of the United States
- School experience or experience working with school-aged pediatric population
- Experience conducting virtual sessions
- Experience and comfortability with various types of technology
- Follow Huddle Up documentation guidelines for evaluation reports and daily SOAP notes
- Participate in IEP and team meetings; serve as a case manager or process coordinator
- Prepare progress reports and complete Medicaid billing if necessary
- Access to a laptop, not Chromebook, to conduct virtual sessions
