About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Solve complex business problems and issues using internal and external data sources
- Provide insights to decision-makers
- Use tools, technologies, applications, and practices to collect, integrate, analyze, and present raw data
- Create insightful and actionable business information
- Make decisions regarding own work methods, including in ambiguous situations
- Report to the Associate Director, Business Intelligence
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor's Degree
- 5+ years of technical experience in data analysis
- 3+ years of experience in SQL, SAS, or Databricks
- 5+ years of advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel power pivots, complex formulas, and summarizing data
- 2+ years of experience assessing complex data sets and performing root cause analysis
- US Citizen
- Minimum home internet speed of 25 Mbps download and 10 Mbps upload
- Dedicated workspace without ongoing interruptions to protect member PHI/HIPAA information
- Preferred: advanced degree in a quantitative discipline such as Mathematics, Economics, Finance, Statistics, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- Preferred: experience with data mining and predictive modeling techniques
- Preferred: ability to use data to drive business outcomes and decisions
