About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Initiate, negotiate, and execute dental provider contracts and agreements
Recontract Humana contracted dentists to the new agreement
Communicate contract terms, payment structures, and reimbursement rates to providers
Maintain contracts and documentation within a tracking system
Assist with identifying and recruiting providers based on network composition and needs
Make decisions regarding work methods and determine appropriate courses of action
Follow established guidelines and procedures
Work on special projects as needed

Requirements

What you’ll need

2 - 5 years of experience negotiating managed care contracts with physician, hospital and/or other provider contracts and/or working with insurance in a dental office
Proficiency in analyzing, understanding and communicating financial impact of contract terms, payment structures and reimbursement rates to providers
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
Proficiency in MS Office applications
Hours worked will be EST/CST
Experience with Value Based Contracting
Experience working with Dental offices
Dedicated work space without ongoing interruptions to protect member PHI / HIPAA information
Self-provided internet service with at least 25 Mbps download and 10 Mbps upload speed
Bachelor's degree desired
