About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Lead contract management, compliance, subcontract administration, procurement oversight, and ethics and compliance functions across multiple Federal Government programs
- Provide strategic direction and operational oversight for government contracts, subcontracts, purchasing activities, small business commitments, and compliance programs
- Ensure activities are administered according to applicable contractual, regulatory, and organizational requirements
- Report to an Associate VP of Contract Management
- Work remotely with occasional travel to Humana offices for training or meetings
Requirements
What you’ll need- U.S. Citizenship required
- Successfully receive interim approval for government security clearance (NBIS - National Background Investigation Service)
- Candidates currently living in Puerto Rico cannot be hired
- Bachelor's degree
- 10 years experience in Federal Government contracting
- 5 years of leadership experience
- One of the following certifications required: Federal Acquisition Certification in Contracting (FAC-C), Defense Acquisition Workforce Improvement Act (DAWIA), CPCM or CFCM
- In-depth knowledge of the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) and Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement (DFARS)
- In-depth knowledge of Small Business Program Requirements
- In-depth knowledge of Change Order Proposal Requirements
- Home internet service with at least 25 Mbps download and 10 Mbps upload speed
- Ability to work from a dedicated space without ongoing interruptions to protect member PHI/HIPAA information
