About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Lead end-to-end delivery of cybersecurity initiatives from planning through implementation and operational transition
Develop and maintain integrated project plans, milestones, dependencies, risks, assumptions, decisions, and action items
Coordinate delivery across cybersecurity teams, technology organizations, business stakeholders, vendors, and external partners
Drive execution of initiatives across Identity & Access Management, Privileged Access Management, Security Operations, Threat Detection & Response, Network Security, Application Security, Cloud Security, AI Security, Governance, Risk & Compliance, and Security Architecture
Facilitate planning sessions, stakeholder reviews, executive updates, governance forums, and project steering meetings
Identify delivery risks, resource constraints, cross-team dependencies, and schedule impacts; develop mitigation and response plans
Establish and maintain project reporting covering progress, risks, decisions, milestones, and business outcomes
Develop status reporting and stakeholder communications, including leadership-level communications
Partner with cybersecurity leaders to align project execution with strategic objectives, capability roadmaps, and organizational priorities
Manage project scope, goals, and timeline while ensuring alignment with approved objectives
Partner with portfolio management to maintain project budgets and forecasts, including resource allocations and time tracking
Drive accountability for commitments and facilitate timely resolution of issues and blockers
Support vendor engagements, contract deliverables, procurement activities, and implementation planning when applicable
Maintain delivery artifacts, documentation, governance requirements, and project controls throughout the project lifecycle
Promote consistency in project delivery practices while adapting approaches to Agile, Waterfall, or Hybrid delivery models
Lead project teams without direct authority

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Information Technology, Cybersecurity, Business, Engineering, or a related field
2-5 years of project management experience leading projects in technology, cybersecurity, risk management, or related disciplines
Experience managing initiatives involving multiple teams, stakeholders, and cross-functional dependencies
Experience delivering projects in one or more cybersecurity domains such as Identity Security, Security Operations, Incident Response, Cloud Security, Network Security, Cyber Risk, Governance, Product Security, Application Security, or Security Engineering
Strong knowledge of project management disciplines including planning, risk management, dependency management, stakeholder engagement, governance, and reporting
Experience developing executive-level communications, status reporting, and decision-support materials
Proven ability to influence stakeholders and drive alignment in matrixed organizations
Experience managing project financials, budgets, forecasts, vendor engagements, or investment-funded initiatives
Strong written, verbal, facilitation, and presentation skills
Ability to operate effectively in a matrixed environment with changing priorities
Fluency in ServiceNow Project Portfolio Management (PPM) for project financial management, forecasting, resource allocation, and time tracking
PMP, PMI-ACP, or equivalent preferred
Experience working within Agile, SAFe, Waterfall, or Hybrid delivery environments preferred
Experience with enterprise delivery and planning tools such as Jira, Azure DevOps, Jira Align, or similar platforms preferred
Familiarity with cybersecurity frameworks and regulatory requirements such as NIST, CIS Controls, Zero Trust, HIPAA, HITRUST, SOC, PCI, or related standards preferred
Understanding of cybersecurity technologies and concepts including identity management, threat detection, vulnerability management, cloud security, incident response, security governance, and security architecture preferred
Minimum home internet speed of 25 Mbps download and 10 Mbps upload
Ability to work from a dedicated space without ongoing interruptions to protect member PHI/HIPAA information
