About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Analyze financial, economic, and operational data to support strategic and business decisions
  • Lead a team responsible for reporting and analytics informing value-based provider relationships and strategy
  • Partner with Market Operations, Provider Experience, and other business stakeholders
  • Provide actuarial support for provider negotiations
  • Engage directly with providers
  • Balance relationship objectives with financial and compliance considerations
  • Oversee internal reporting processes
  • Help shape strategy and policies for value-based provider reporting
  • Develop new reports and visualizations for evolving business needs
  • Address complex issues with minimal supervision and sound judgment
  • Evaluate multiple factors to determine effective solutions
  • Report to the Associate Director, Actuarial (General)

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor's Degree
  • FSA or ASA plus relevant advanced degree, recent and relevant work experience, and/or other relevant professional designations
  • MAAA
  • Demonstrated ability to articulate ideas effectively in both written and oral forms
  • Experience in more than two functions (e.g., modeling, pricing, rate filing, reporting & analysis, reserving or trending) (preferred)
  • Strong organization skills; adept at managing multiple priorities and deadlines
  • Advanced technical expertise in SQL, VBA, and data visualization
  • Innovative and future-focused mindset, with an ability to drive transformative solutions
  • Highly independent
  • Minimum download speed of 25 Mbps and upload speed of 10 Mbps
  • Dedicated workspace without ongoing interruptions to protect member PHI/HIPAA information
