About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Design, engineer, automate, and support enterprise data-caching platforms across cloud and on-premises environments
Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code, automation solutions, and deployment frameworks using Terraform and scripting languages
Provide Level 3 engineering support for production platforms
Participate in a 24x7 on-call rotation
Troubleshoot complex incidents and lead root cause analysis efforts
Drive platform reliability, performance, scalability, security, patching, upgrades, and lifecycle management
Partner with application, cloud, security, and operations teams to establish platform standards
Deliver secure, scalable, highly available, and resilient caching solutions for critical business applications

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or equivalent experience
5+ years of experience in Platform Engineering, Cloud Engineering, DevOps, Infrastructure Engineering, or engineering and support of enterprise data-caching technologies
Hands-on experience with Azure Managed Redis (AMR), Google Cloud Memorystore (Valkey/Redis), Redis Enterprise, or similar distributed caching technologies
Strong experience with Terraform, Infrastructure as Code (IaC), automation, CI/CD pipelines, and Git-based development practices
Experience developing automation and operational tooling using Python, PowerShell, Bash, or similar scripting languages
Experience providing Level 3 production support, participating in on-call rotations, and resolving complex distributed system issues
Strong Linux administration, troubleshooting, and performance tuning skills
Solid understanding of data caching, cloud networking, security, high availability, resiliency, and disaster recovery architectures
Azure and/or Google Cloud certifications preferred
Experience with Kubernetes, container platforms, and cloud-native technologies preferred
Dedicated workspace without ongoing interruptions to protect member PHI/HIPAA information
Home internet service with at least 25 Mbps download and 10 Mbps upload speeds
