About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Support day-to-day portfolio operations for the Enterprise Software Quality Engineering Center of Excellence
- Coordinate leadership reviews, planning cycles, intake processes, and governance routines
- Manage operational intake and demand coordination, including tracking, assessment, prioritization, and routing
- Maintain visibility into portfolio performance, delivery commitments, dependencies, risks, and operational issues
- Support organizational planning and prepare portfolio review and executive decision-making materials
- Lead budgeting, forecasting, financial planning, and expense management
- Monitor budget-to-forecast-to-actual performance, analyze variances, identify risks and opportunities, and develop monthly executive reporting
- Develop presentations, business cases, and supporting materials for leadership reviews, financial governance, planning cycles, and investment discussions
- Partner with Finance, Procurement, and business leaders on budgets, investments, utilization, vendor spend, and operational efficiency
- Support workforce planning, capacity management, and resource forecasting across associates, contractors, and suppliers
- Track resource allocation trends and identify staffing, onboarding, skill gap, succession planning, and delivery capacity risks
- Coordinate resources transitioning from segment organizations into Quality Engineering COEs
- Track financial and operational action items and follow up on leadership commitments
- Manage executive communications, meeting preparation, decision logs, and follow-up actions
- Lead supplier management, including performance reviews, contract compliance, service-level tracking, risk management, and relationship management
- Coordinate end-to-end RFP processes, including requirements gathering, supplier evaluations, scoring, contract negotiations, and recommendations
- Conduct financial, operational, and market research for strategic decisions, funding requests, workforce investments, and continuous improvement
- Coordinate vendor reporting, performance reviews, action tracking, onboarding documentation, contract planning, renewals, and service delivery alignment
- Develop and maintain operational reports, dashboards, scorecards, and presentation materials, including Power BI reporting
- Consolidate and analyze financial, resource capacity, portfolio demand, organizational health, and transformation data
- Identify trends, risks, and opportunities to improve operational performance and decision-making
- Support communication planning, leadership updates, town halls, All Hands meetings, and organizational forums
- Coordinate associate engagement, learning, culture, and organizational effectiveness programs
- Partner with Human Resources and leadership on onboarding, change management, and team engagement communications
- Support enterprise quality transformation initiatives, strategic priorities, innovation, experimentation, and continuous improvement programs
- Leverage AI tools and technologies to improve productivity, quality, and operational efficiency
- Coordinate strategic program plans, milestones, dependencies, risks, and reporting
- Track organizational goals, initiatives, and action plans while driving accountability for outcomes
- Measure and communicate program value, organizational impact, and business outcomes
- Coordinate onboarding and integration for resources transitioning into Quality Engineering COEs
- Manage transition planning, communications, access, role alignment, and operational readiness
- Track onboarding progress, surface risks or blockers, and support issue resolution
- Standardize onboarding and integration practices
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor's degree in Management, Finance, Business or Information Technology, or related field
- 5+ years of experience supporting budgeting, forecasting, financial tracking, or resource planning processes
- 5+ years of experience in portfolio management, technology business operations, program management, strategic planning, workforce planning, or related disciplines
- 3+ years of experience supporting technology organizations, business operations teams, portfolio functions, or transformation initiatives
- Experience developing reports, dashboards, scorecards, and executive presentation materials
- Experience coordinating across multiple stakeholders in a matrixed environment
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, including executive-level communication
- Ability to manage multiple priorities with a high degree of accuracy, professionalism, and responsiveness
- Preferred: experience supporting Quality Engineering, Software Engineering, Platform Engineering, DevOps, Enterprise Architecture, or Technology Operations organizations
- Preferred: experience with vendor management, managed service operations, or strategic partner governance
- Preferred: experience in healthcare, insurance, financial services, or another highly regulated industry
- Preferred: experience with workforce onboarding, organizational transition planning, or change management initiatives
- Preferred: familiarity with Agile, Lean Portfolio Management, SAFe, DevOps, CI/CD, and product operating models
- Preferred: experience using portfolio, reporting, and work management tools such as Azure DevOps, dashboards/reporting platforms, and collaboration tools
- Preferred: PMP, SAFe, Lean, or related certification
- Preferred: experience supporting executive-level strategic initiatives and business operations for large enterprise teams
- Minimum download speed of 25 Mbps and upload speed of 10 Mbps for home internet
- Ability to work from a dedicated space without ongoing interruptions to protect member PHI/HIPAA information
