About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Maintain, integrate, and implement software applications within the organization
  • Work on software application problems ranging from moderate to substantial scope and complexity
  • Coordinate software application testing, quality assurance, configuration, installation, and support
  • Ensure smooth, stable, and timely implementation of new software and updates
  • Establish and maintain controls over test and production systems and software source code
  • Advise executives on functional strategies for significant matters
  • Lead high-severity incident and service restoration bridge calls
  • Coordinate communication with senior leadership during critical outages
  • Perform root cause analysis across a broad range of software technologies
  • Support pharmacy releases and escalations
  • Make independent decisions on complex issues with minimal supervision

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field
  • 8 or more years in information technology, SRE, DevOps, or Platform Engineering
  • 2 or more years of project/technical lead experience
  • Ability to lead high-severity incident and service restoration bridge calls
  • Strong verbal communication skills and ability to remain composed under pressure
  • Ability to provide clear status updates and drive technical teams toward resolution
  • Ability to manage stakeholder expectations during critical outages
  • Ability to perform root cause analysis across diverse software technologies in a large, multi-system production environment
  • Understanding and experience with generative and agentic AI tools for authoring and analysis
  • Passion for continuously improving consumer experiences
  • Availability for occasional and/or weekend escalations as needed
  • Preferred: Master's Degree
  • Preferred: Domain knowledge and experience in the health care sector, specifically pharmacy
  • Preferred: Experience with .NET, Java, Typescript, SQL Server, Oracle Database, Postgres, MongoDB, Kubernetes, Temporal, and similar technologies
  • Preferred: Experience in regulated enterprise environments
  • Preferred: Experience with Agile SDLC and/or Scrum
  • Preferred: Extensive experience with observability tools such as Dynatrace and Splunk
  • Minimum home internet speed of 25 Mbps download and 10 Mbps upload
  • Ability to work from a dedicated space without ongoing interruptions to protect member PHI/HIPAA information
