About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Provide data-based strategic direction to identify and address business issues and opportunities
- Provide business intelligence and strategic planning support for business segments or the company
- Lead initiatives analyzing complex business problems using internal and external data
- Identify, interpret, and produce recommendations and plans based on data analysis
- Bring expertise or identify subject matter experts for multifunctional efforts
- Ensure policies and procedures align with corporate vision
- Select, develop, and evaluate personnel to ensure efficient operation of the function
- Advise executives in developing functional strategies
- Exercise independent judgment and decision-making on complex issues
- Occasionally travel to Humana offices for training or meetings
Requirements
What you’ll need- A Bachelor's degree
- 5+ years of strategy, pharmacy or healthcare experience
- 2 or more years of project leadership experience
- Passion for contributing to an organization focused on continuously improving consumer experiences
- Prior healthcare experience (preferred)
- Prior experience in pharmacy benefit management, mail-order, retail, or specialty pharmacy (preferred)
- Minimum home internet speed of 25 Mbps download and 10 Mbps upload
- Work from a dedicated space without ongoing interruptions to protect member PHI/HIPAA information
