About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Define and own a unified cross-segment product roadmap across Pharmacy, Primary Care Organization, Home Solutions, and Humana Military
- Establish and maintain reference architectures, design patterns, and integration standards across CenterWell segments
- Conduct cross-segment discovery sessions, design workshops, and architecture reviews
- Own and prioritize top-level product backlogs for shared platforms
- Partner with segment product owners to decompose initiatives into delivery-ready user stories with acceptance criteria and non-functional requirements
- Define integration contracts, API standards, and domain boundaries for cross-segment data flows
- Lead architecture checkpoints and risk reviews
- Represent the combined product and architecture perspective in governance forums including ARB, TRB, and MOR
- Translate product vision into architectural runways and delivery-ready specifications
- Identify and steward opportunities for component and pattern reuse
- Build business cases for platform consolidation
- Serve as primary liaison among segment business leaders, engineering leads, EA Activation, security, data, and enterprise CIO teams
- Ensure designs conform to security, privacy, HIPAA/PHI, ONC interoperability, and DoD/TRICARE data requirements
- Ensure observability, data lineage, and end-to-end data protection for shared data assets
- Evangelize shared capabilities over duplicated builds and reduce long-term technical debt
- Translate complex architectural and product decisions for delivery teams and executives
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field
- 10+ years of progressive IT experience spanning product management, solution architecture, or a meaningful combination of both disciplines
- 5+ years of solution architecture or senior product ownership experience within healthcare IT
- Demonstrated delivery in regulated environments, including HIPAA/PHI and HITECH
- Proven experience owning and prioritizing cross-functional product backlogs and roadmaps across multiple business lines or segments
- Experience managing competing stakeholder demands at the executive level
- Hands-on experience with Azure services, including Azure API Management, Event Hub, Service Bus, Azure Data Factory, AKS, and Azure AD/Entra ID
- Working knowledge of Snowflake or Databricks data platform patterns
- Deep competency in API design and governance, event-driven architecture, and microservices patterns
- Experience with FHIR R4 and HL7 interoperability standards in healthcare contexts
- Experience producing reference architectures, architectural decision records, and solution blueprints
- Experience participating in enterprise governance forums such as ARB, TRB, and MOR
- Proficiency in agile and SAFe delivery models, backlog management, PI planning, iteration ceremonies, and dependency management across agile release trains
- Executive-level communication skills
- Demonstrated experience incorporating AI/ML capabilities into product strategy and architectural design
- Working knowledge of LLM integration patterns, including RAG, prompt engineering, knowledge management, and fine-tuning
- Ability to evaluate Azure OpenAI, Amazon Bedrock, and Vertex AI platform options
- Experience with agent orchestration, planning loops, tool/function calling, multi-agent coordination, and human-in-the-loop override workflows
- Familiarity with MLOps/LLMOps practices, model lifecycle governance, observability, evaluation frameworks, and cost/performance optimization
- Understanding of enterprise AI guardrails, responsible AI principles, bias mitigation, policy enforcement, and healthcare regulatory considerations
- Preferred: experience with PBM, pharmacy, TRICARE, military health, primary care, EMR, value-based care, home health, OASIS/PDGM, enterprise IAM, Azure AD/Entra ID governance, data mesh, and data product patterns
