About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Administer sales compensation programs, including commission calculations, validations, and payouts
- Review and reconcile compensation data for accuracy and compliance
- Respond to sales associate inquiries about commission payments, calculations, and compensation plan details
- Investigate and resolve compensation discrepancies
- Prepare monthly reports and statements, including compensation summaries, payroll support documentation, balance sheets, and profit and loss reporting
- Partner with payroll, finance, and sales leadership to ensure accurate compensation processing
- Coordinate with software vendors and internal technology teams to maintain compensation system functionality and data integrity
- Assist with audits, reporting requests, and compliance-related activities
- Maintain documentation of compensation processes, procedures, and controls
- Identify process improvements and increase operational efficiency
- Support special projects and additional compensation-related initiatives as assigned
Requirements
What you’ll need- Minimum of 1 year of experience performing administrative, technical, operations, or business support functions
- 1+ years of experience in sales compensation, accounting, finance, payroll, or a related field
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office, with advanced working knowledge of Excel
- Ability to work Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM Eastern Time
- Strong attention to detail with a commitment to accuracy and quality
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to maintain confidentiality when handling sensitive compensation information
- Passion for contributing to an organization focused on improving consumer experiences
- Self-provided internet service with at least 25 Mbps download and 10 Mbps upload speed
- Dedicated workspace without ongoing interruptions to protect member PHI / HIPAA information
- Occasional travel to Humana offices for training or meetings may be required
