About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Design, develop, and maintain standardized reporting and analytics solutions supporting the CMS GLP-1 Bridge demonstration and future related programs
  • Build analytics-ready data solutions using Azure Databricks and SQL, including data transformation, modeling, validation, and reusable business logic
  • Develop and maintain Power BI reports, semantic models, measures, and visualizations
  • Create reusable datasets, metrics, and reporting patterns to standardize recurring analytical needs and reduce manual and ad hoc reporting
  • Partner with business, clinical, pharmacy, analytics, and technology stakeholders to translate complex requirements into scalable analytical solutions
  • Apply data quality, governance, documentation, and visualization practices
  • Explore and apply AI-enabled and conversational analytics, including Genie One
  • Contribute to team capabilities across Power BI, Azure Databricks, semantic modeling, analytics engineering, and AI
  • Independently determine technical approaches and solutions for moderately complex to complex assignments

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 5 or more years of professional experience in business intelligence, analytics, data engineering, data visualization, or a related discipline, including building analytical solutions for business users
  • 3 or more years of experience using SQL to extract, transform, analyze, and validate data
  • 3 or more years of experience using Power BI or a comparable data visualization and business intelligence platform, including developing reports, visualizations, data models, or business metrics
  • Ability to transform complex data into accessible, actionable insights for business leaders and stakeholders
  • Experience developing standardized, recurring reporting and analytics solutions for ongoing business or operational needs
  • Ability to independently translate complex requirements into analytical solutions and communicate effectively across technical and non-technical teams
  • Minimum home internet speed of 25 Mbps download and 10 Mbps upload
  • Master's degree in Analytics, Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or a related field (preferred)
  • 2 or more years of hands-on experience with Azure Databricks or a comparable cloud data and analytics platform (preferred)
  • Experience using Python and/or PySpark for data processing, transformation, automation, or analytics development (preferred)
  • Experience developing semantic models, reusable analytical datasets, or standardized reporting frameworks (preferred)
  • Experience with Genie One, Databricks AI/BI, conversational analytics, AI agents, or similar AI-enabled analytics capabilities (preferred)
  • Experience with healthcare or managed care analytics, including Medicare Part D, pharmacy claims, PBM, CMS demonstrations, or regulatory reporting (preferred)
  • Experience with data governance practices or technologies, Microsoft analytics tools, and/or relevant Microsoft or Databricks certifications (preferred)
