About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Develop and test information security tools, applications, and system solutions deployed in Humana
Oversee design engineering and testing processes for Humana EIP products
Drive products from design to volume production release with EIP stakeholders
Design, oversee, and perform engineering tests validating platform and product designs
Design and implement protocols and solutions safeguarding sensitive data from external and internal breaches or attacks
Implement engineering updates to Humana information technology and information security infrastructures
Lead end-to-end application onboarding intake activities for Identity Governance and Administration (IGA) services
Partner with application architects, developers, product teams, and application owners to assess onboarding requirements and dependencies
Evaluate applications for compatibility with Microsoft Entra ID authentication and authorization capabilities
Determine IAM integration strategies based on application architecture, security requirements, and business needs
Develop high-level SailPoint ISC onboarding and integration designs when Entra ID authorization is insufficient
Identify REST API, SailPoint ISC out-of-the-box connector, flat-file, and batch-based integration patterns
Define high-level Joiner, Mover, and Leaver lifecycle processes
Identify APIs, data feeds, and identity data sources supporting provisioning, governance, and lifecycle management
Design onboarding solutions covering Entra ID, SailPoint ISC, access governance, compliance, PAM, account management, ownership, and approvals
Identify onboarding prerequisites, artifacts, dependencies, risks, and implementation requirements
Coordinate intake deliverables across application owners, architects, IAM engineering teams, and cybersecurity stakeholders
Translate intake findings into epics, features, and user stories for delivery teams
Provide guidance on IAM architecture, onboarding standards, and industry best practices
Drive consistency, scalability, and compliance across enterprise identity onboarding initiatives
Make decisions on moderately complex to complex technical issues and influence department strategy

Requirements

What you’ll need

2+ years' experience leading IAM or IGA application onboarding, discovery, intake, and scoping activities
Deep understanding of identity governance, access management, and identity lifecycle management concepts
Expertise with Microsoft Entra ID, SailPoint Identity Security Cloud (ISC), and Privileged Access Management (PAM) solutions
Experience evaluating applications and creating high-level IAM integration designs
Knowledge of SailPoint ISC integration approaches including API, connector-based, and file-based integrations
Experience working with application architects, engineering teams, and business stakeholders
Strong documentation, analytical, and requirements-gathering skills
Ability to independently manage complex onboarding initiatives from intake through delivery readiness
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Knowledge of OAuth, OpenID Connect, SAML, SCIM, LDAP, and REST-based integrations
Experience in regulated healthcare, financial services, or other highly governed environments
Experience with Agile delivery methodologies, feature development, and backlog management
IAM-related certifications such as SailPoint, CISSP, CIAM, Security+, or Microsoft Identity certifications are preferred
Minimum 25 Mbps download speed and 10 Mbps upload speed for home internet service
Ability to work from a dedicated space lacking ongoing interruptions to protect member PHI/HIPAA information
