About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Support all aspects of configuration control, data management, and deficiency reporting
Support implementation of government and industry policies for requirements management, document management, change management, production and delivery, and configuration management
Manage performance, functional, and physical baselines
Acquire, validate, store, protect, and process required data
Ensure data accessibility, reliability, and timeliness for users
Develop and execute architectures, policies, practices, and procedures for full enterprise data lifecycle management
Influence department strategy
Make technical approach decisions for moderately complex to complex project components
Work independently in determining objectives and approaches to assignments
Report to the Associate Director, Innovation Portfolio Strategy

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor's degree
3+ years of hands-on Python experience for data processing, transformation, automation, validation, or related data workflows
3+ years of SSIS experience
3+ years of SQL, SSIS, Python, and Databricks experience
3+ years of experience working with relational databases and large, complex datasets
Strong technical documentation skills, including ability to document data flows, business rules, dependencies, processes, and production support procedures
Master's degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Engineering and/or related field preferred
Healthcare or managed care experience preferred
Experience with data extraction and analysis technologies such as SAS, SPSS, QlickView, Hadoop, SQL or similar tools preferred
Minimum home internet speed of 25 Mbps download and 10 Mbps upload
Ability to work from a dedicated space without ongoing interruptions
Ability to occasionally travel to Humana offices for training or meetings
