About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Manage data to support and influence decisions on daily operations, strategic planning and performance issues
  • Collect, compile, verify, and analyze financial information and economic indicators for strategic and operational decisions
  • Present results to senior management weekly, monthly, and quarterly
  • Analyze financial implications of proposed budgets and explain variances and trends
  • Evaluate industry, economic, financial, and market trends to forecast short-, medium-, and long-term financial and competitive position
  • Influence department strategy and develop analysis on expenses, costs, and investments
  • Perform financial modeling, reporting, and budgeting
  • Advise executives on functional strategies and significant matters
  • Work with Tech leadership on business case analysis and return on investments

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Candidates must reside in Florida, Kentucky, Maryland, Washington, D.C. or Virginia
  • Bachelor's degree
  • Three (3) or more years of general accounting and financial management experience
  • Experience compiling, modeling, interpreting and analyzing data to identify, explain, influence variances and trends
  • Experience managing data to support and influence decisions on daily operations, strategic planning and specific business performance issues
  • Ability to explain variances and trends and enhance modeling techniques
  • Working knowledge and understanding of department, segment and organizational strategy
  • Dedicated workspace without ongoing interruptions to protect member PHI / HIPAA information
  • Self-provided internet service with at least 25 Mbps download and 10 Mbps upload speed
