Key responsibilities & impact

Lead end-to-end delivery of complex cybersecurity initiatives from planning through implementation and operational transition
Develop and maintain integrated project plans, milestones, dependencies, risks, assumptions, decisions, and action items
Coordinate delivery across cybersecurity teams, technology organizations, business stakeholders, vendors, and external partners
Drive execution across Identity & Access Management, Privileged Access Management, Security Operations, Threat Detection & Response, Network Security, Application Security, Cloud Security, AI Security, Governance, Risk & Compliance, and Security Architecture
Facilitate planning sessions, stakeholder reviews, executive updates, governance forums, and project steering meetings
Identify delivery risks, resource constraints, cross-team dependencies, and schedule impacts; develop mitigation and response plans
Establish and maintain project reporting on progress, risks, decisions, milestones, and business outcomes
Translate complex technical concepts into business-focused communications for leadership and executive stakeholders
Partner with cybersecurity leaders to align project execution with strategic objectives, capability roadmaps, and organizational priorities
Manage project scope, goals, timelines, financials, budgets, forecasts, resource allocations, and project time tracking
Drive accountability for commitments and facilitate resolution of issues and blockers
Support vendor engagements, contract deliverables, procurement activities, and implementation planning
Maintain delivery artifacts, documentation, governance requirements, and project controls
Adapt delivery approaches to Agile, Waterfall, or Hybrid models
Lead project teams and contractors; mentor junior project managers

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Information Technology, Cybersecurity, Business, Engineering, or a related field
5-8+ years of experience leading cross-functional projects, project teams and contractors, and programs in technology, cybersecurity, risk management, or related disciplines
Experience managing initiatives involving multiple teams, stakeholders, and cross-functional dependencies
Experience leading complex technology, cybersecurity, risk, compliance, or security-related initiatives in an enterprise environment
Experience delivering initiatives in one or more cybersecurity domains
Strong knowledge of project management disciplines including planning, risk management, dependency management, stakeholder engagement, governance, and reporting
Experience developing executive-level communications, status reporting, and decision-support materials
Proven ability to influence stakeholders and drive alignment in matrixed organizations
Experience managing project financials, budgets, forecasts, vendor engagements, or investment-funded initiatives
Strong written, verbal, facilitation, and presentation skills
Ability to operate independently in highly complex and ambiguous environments
Fluency in ServiceNow Project Portfolio Management (PPM) for project financial management, forecasting, resource allocation, and time tracking
Preferred: PMP, PMI-ACP, or equivalent
Preferred: Experience with Agile, SAFe, Waterfall, or Hybrid delivery environments
Preferred: Experience with Jira, Azure DevOps, Jira Align, or similar platforms
Preferred: Familiarity with cybersecurity frameworks and regulatory requirements such as NIST, CIS Controls, Zero Trust, HIPAA, HITRUST, SOC, PCI, or related standards
Preferred: Understanding of cybersecurity technologies and concepts including identity management, threat detection, vulnerability management, cloud security, incident response, security governance, and security architecture
Minimum home internet speed of 25 Mbps download and 10 Mbps upload
Ability to work from a dedicated space without ongoing interruptions to protect member PHI/HIPAA information
