About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Analyze and measure the effectiveness of existing business processes
- Develop sustainable, repeatable, and quantifiable business process improvements
- Research best business practices within and outside the organization to establish benchmark data
- Collect and analyze process data
- Initiate, develop, and recommend business practices and procedures focused on enhanced safety, increased productivity, and reduced cost
- Determine how new information technologies can support business re-engineering
- Specialize in benchmarking, business process analysis and re-engineering, change management and measurement, and/or process-driven systems requirements
- Influence department strategy
- Make decisions regarding technical approaches for project components
- Determine objectives and approaches to assignments with considerable latitude
- Travel less than 5% as business needs require
Requirements
What you’ll need- One of the following: Licensed Professional (LSW) in Kentucky, or ability to obtain; master's degree from an accredited university or college in social work, psychology, or related health and human services area with at least 1 year of professional case management experience; Licensed Registered Nurse in Kentucky, or ability to obtain; or bachelor's degree in nursing with at least 1 year of professional case management experience
- Minimum 3 years of technical experience re-engineering process improvements, including root cause analysis, collaboration with product teams, communicating business need requirements, and surveys
- Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Power BI
- Strong presentation skills using PowerPoint and ability to communicate with all levels
- Experience writing new process initiatives with proven results
- Must reside in Kentucky or a contiguous state and be able to travel to the Louisville, Kentucky office once a quarter
- Availability during office hours of 8AM–5PM Eastern Time, Monday–Friday
- Self-provided internet service with at least 25 Mbps download and 10 Mbps upload
- Dedicated work space without ongoing interruptions to protect member PHI/HIPAA information
