About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Research best business practices internally and externally to establish benchmark data
  • Define and lead business improvement projects aligned with business strategies and operational priorities
  • Collect and analyze process data to recommend practices focused on member experience, productivity, efficiency, and cost reduction
  • Determine how information technologies can support business process re-engineering
  • Design, implement, and improve business processes across designated areas
  • Own and deliver a portfolio of process improvement projects achieving quantifiable annual cost savings
  • Analyze process effectiveness using industry benchmarks and business strategy
  • Partner with operations leadership to quantify initiatives improving cost, quality, and outcomes
  • Influence leadership and cross-functional partners through data-driven insights and storytelling
  • Develop projects using DMAIC, PDCA, Kaizen, or other appropriate process improvement methodologies
  • Identify project risks and escalate issues

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Lean Six Sigma Black Belt certification
  • Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, Healthcare Management, or a related quantitative field
  • 5+ years of experience in process engineering, continuous improvement, or operations management
  • Demonstrated success planning and implementing broad process improvement initiatives at tactical and strategic levels
  • Demonstrated ability to influence and motivate across multiple levels of an organization
  • Strong analytical thinking and ability to analyze technical processes, business processes, and raw data
  • Expertise in project management, program management, problem solving, and issue mitigation
  • Proficiency developing and interpreting financial measures, cost modeling, and forecasting
  • Ability to work effectively as a member of a virtual team
  • Home internet with at least 25 Mbps download and 10 Mbps upload speeds
  • Ability to work from a dedicated space without ongoing interruptions to protect member PHI/HIPAA information
