About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Manage and communicate product vision and roadmap to an Agile delivery team
- Align products with Technology standards and strategy
- Build and maintain the product backlog with stakeholders and delivery teams
- Shape product direction and create features
- Write user stories with clear acceptance criteria
- Represent the customer voice to the team
- Articulate and prioritize backlog items in small increments of value
- Partner with product management and senior management to align the product roadmap with strategic objectives
- Communicate feature and product strategy to stakeholders and team members
- Incorporate stakeholder input and negotiate tradeoffs based on business and customer value
- Define and maintain product backlog epics and decompose them into features and user stories
- Ensure the backlog enables delivery of objectives and key results
- Provide product subject matter expertise and clarify customer requirements to delivery teams
- Drive quality and innovation in the team's work product
- Define key metrics for status reporting
- Make decisions regarding technical approaches for project components
- Travel occasionally to Humana offices for training or meetings
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor's degree or higher in relevant information technology field (Information Technology, Information Systems Management, Computer Science, etc.)
- 5+ years of technical experience
- At least 3+ years working in an application security, DevSecOps or product security team
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence others
- Experience translating business needs to technical requirements
- Ability to exercise independent judgment and decision making on complex issues
- Ability to work under minimal supervision and analyze variable factors
- Analytical and problem solving skills
- Passion for continuously improving consumer experiences
- Passion for developer experience, privacy, security, quality and product delivery
- Experience with JIRA, Azure DevOps, SAFE and Agile transformation
- Certified Scrum Product Owner or equivalent preferred
- Knowledge of information security management frameworks, including ISO 27001/27002, ITIL, COBIT, NIST and BSIMM preferred
- Experience with SAST, DAST, IAST and related tooling preferred
- Professional cybersecurity certifications such as CISSP or CISA desired
- This role is not eligible for work visa sponsorship
- Home internet with at least 25 Mbps download and 10 Mbps upload
- Dedicated workspace without ongoing interruptions to protect member PHI/HIPAA information
