About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Design, build, enhance, and support scalable, secure, and reliable technology solutions
- Partner with Development, Operations, Product, and Architecture teams
- Contribute to modernization, simplification, and lifecycle improvement across applications, platforms, and integrations
- Lead technical delivery of moderately complex to complex initiatives
- Provide input into solution design, implementation approach, and future-state improvements
- Analyze system issues, performance bottlenecks, and operational inefficiencies
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex application, connectivity, and processing issues
- Support system stability, performance, and availability through monitoring, root cause analysis, and corrective action planning
- Develop and implement automation solutions
- Evaluate and apply AI-enabled tools and intelligent automation
- Contribute to application and API rationalization, reporting simplification, and technology footprint reduction
- Apply modern software engineering, integration, and DevOps practices
- Improve development workflows, testing practices, and deployment automation
- Support patching, upgrades, decommissioning, and modernization efforts
- Identify, assess, prioritize, and remediate vulnerabilities with security partners
- Follow secure engineering practices and enterprise security standards
- Contribute to testing, validation, production readiness, and audit support
- Collaborate with engineers, product partners, architects, operations teams, and stakeholders
- Provide technical guidance and mentor less experienced engineers
- Contribute to architectural discussions and integration strategy

Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering or equivalent experience
- 5 or more years of software engineering or systems engineering experience
- Experience developing, maintaining, and supporting enterprise applications
- Experience developing and supporting applications using .NET frameworks and SQL databases
- Experience with Azure or another cloud platform in support of application development, deployment, or operations
- Experience with application integration, batch processing, and large-scale transactional systems
- Experience with secure engineering practices and enterprise technology standards
- Experience analyzing technical issues, identifying root causes, and implementing effective solutions
- Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams and communicating technical information to technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Passion for contributing to an organization focused on continuously improving consumer experiences
