About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Ensure MTF, beneficiary, and provider understanding of the TRICARE health plan
Explain how to navigate the Military Health System, including enrollment, claims, and referrals
Support the Health System Leader in local TRICARE network operations
Participate in network development and optimization strategies
Interact in person with TRICARE beneficiaries, Medical Treatment Facility staff, and Government staff
Communicate with stakeholders by telephone, e-mail, and chat
Conduct outreach activities and briefings
Deliver briefings at the Naval Health Clinic in Quantico, VA
Travel and work during uncommon duty hours, weekends, and nights as needed
Report to a Health Systems Leader

Requirements

What you’ll need

U.S. citizenship required
Successfully receive interim approval for government security clearance (NBIS - National Background Investigation Services)
Must not currently live in Puerto Rico
Must live within a 60 mile commute of the Naval Health Clinic in Quantico, VA
Ability to travel and work on weekends/nights as needed
Experience in healthcare provider relations
Experience in customer relationship management
Experience analyzing information, researching problems, and determining and implementing solutions
Exceptional public-speaking ability
Preferred: Experience in TRICARE, including presentations to groups
Preferred: Knowledge of healthcare provider contract negotiations
Minimum home internet speed of 25 Mbps download and 10 Mbps upload
Dedicated workspace without ongoing interruptions to protect member PHI/HIPAA information
