About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Lead operational budget management, forecasting, invoicing, and financial planning activities
  • Develop and maintain portfolio-level financial reporting and performance scorecards
  • Partner with business and technology leaders to develop business cases and investment recommendations
  • Identify, quantify, and track expected value associated with strategic initiatives
  • Establish and maintain processes for value realization measurement and reporting
  • Support portfolio governance processes, including investment prioritization and funding reviews
  • Analyze financial and operational performance trends and recommend improvements
  • Communicate portfolio performance, investment recommendations, and realized value to senior leadership and key stakeholders

  • Exercise independent judgment and decision-making on complex issues with minimal supervision

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor's degree or 7+ years of healthcare, finance, operations, strategy, or portfolio management experience
  • 5+ years of financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, or business operations experience
  • Experience developing business cases and evaluating investment opportunities
  • Experience analyzing and communicating financial and operational performance metrics
  • Experience leading highly complex cross-functional initiatives
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Strong executive communication skills
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and financial modeling
  • Self-provided internet service with at least 25 Mbps download and 10 Mbps upload speed
  • Ability to work from a dedicated space without ongoing interruptions to protect member PHI/HIPAA information
