About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Provide strategic and operational leadership as a member of the Pharmacy executive leadership team
- Oversee the IT Department and assess business needs
- Optimize or create processes to facilitate effective solution delivery and support
- Make recommendations related to acquisitions and divestitures
- Direct the executive team on how Information Technology advances the business
- Ensure Pharmacy Technology is resilient, secure and robust across the enterprise
- Manage key business and IT vendor relationships
- Interact with external partners, clients and customers
- Lead, develop and oversee all IT needs for Humana Pharmacy P&L and its four sub-organizations
- Provide executive leadership responsibility with DomaniRx
- Develop and implement department goals with Executive IT staff
- Oversee large-scale transformation initiatives across people, processes and technology
- Monitor emerging technologies that can accelerate business goals and increase company profits
- Drive pharmacy business outcomes through an omni-channel eCommerce lens
- Create and implement IT policies, protocols and standards
- Develop direction and promote talent development for Pharmacy IT employees
- Support an inclusive business and IT work environment
- Develop the Pharmacy IT department budget with Pharmacy business leaders and senior IT leaders
- Ensure Pharmacy IT strategies and processes support overall business goals
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor's degree
- 10 or more years of technical experience
- 8 or more years of management experience
- Broad understanding of Information Technology solutions including Retail technologies, platforms, applications and capabilities in Pharma and Healthcare
- Passion for contributing to an organization focused on continuously improving consumer experiences
- Master's Degree (preferred)
- 5 or more years of IT Management experience (preferred)
- Minimum home internet speed of 25 Mbps download and 10 Mbps upload
- Work from a dedicated space lacking ongoing interruptions to protect member PHI / HIPAA information
