About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Serve as a liaison between Humana Government Business and Human Resources regarding government contract compliance
- Respond to information requests from HR Business Partners
- Provide Payroll guidance on Service Contract Act requirements
- Ensure vacant positions are posted in Workday promptly
- Develop comprehensive staffing models and labor cost proposals with HGB directors, managers and associates
- Work with the HGB pricing team on staffing models
- Read and understand RFP requirements
- Maintain the HGB Position Tracking System with accurate staffing and authorized-position data
- Produce monthly reports
- Develop and issue routine and ad hoc reports using the Position Tracking System, Workday payroll system and other sources
- Participate in audits by government agencies
- Manage HGB's relationship with its contingent labor vendor
- Advise leaders on temporary staffing needs and contingent labor use
- Coordinate screening and onboarding of temporary workers, including training verification, access, timecard approvals and invoice processing
- Support Corporate Procurement with contract terms, conditions and vendor evaluation for government contracting small-business spend
- Assist with assigned special projects
Requirements
What you’ll need- U.S. citizenship required by Department of Defense contract
- Candidates currently living in Puerto Rico cannot be hired
- Bachelor's degree
- Three (3) years of experience in Human Resources dealing with compensation and confidential data
- Experience with Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables, formulas and graphs
- Background with the Service Contract Act and government contracting preferred
- Minimum home internet speed of 25 Mbps download and 10 Mbps upload
- Ability to work from a dedicated space without ongoing interruptions to protect member PHI / HIPAA information
