About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Design, build and test new functionality and improvements to the metadata management platform
Analyse and solve problems in existing systems
Translate requirements into designs and working code
Participate in unit, system and acceptance testing
Participate in architecture reviews and performance testing
Work on continuous integration, development environments and software releases
Use AI tools as a standard part of development work
Collaborate with an experienced international team of software engineers, test engineers and a technical manager

Requirements

What you’ll need

At least 4 years of experience as a software engineer
A bachelor's or master's degree in computer science or a related field, or equivalent experience
Experience with Java/Spring and React
Experience with AWS (Lambda, EKS, ECS)
Good knowledge of Linux and scripting
Experience with PostgreSQL and Git is a plus
C is an advantage
Hands-on use of AI tools in daily work
Good English; Dutch is not required
Team player who enjoys working in an agile, international environment
