About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Act as a key point of contact for assigned customers regarding product-related matters, operational requirements and business needs
Lead customer discussions to understand roadside assistance, dispatch, fleet coordination and logistics workflows
Analyse customer requests and identify underlying operational and business requirements
Assess whether needs can be addressed through existing functionality, configuration, customisation or further product development
Manage expectations, communicate proposed solutions and follow through on agreed deliverables
Build trusted customer relationships through understanding of their operational environment
Translate business requirements into structured product specifications, user stories, functional requirements, process flows and acceptance criteria
Evaluate enhancements based on business value, customer impact, scalability and implementation effort
Identify recurring customer needs and opportunities for core product incorporation
Maintain and prioritise the product backlog and contribute to product roadmap discussions
Work with Commercial to understand commitments, priorities and growth opportunities
Evaluate commercial implications and identify opportunities for additional functionality, adoption and account expansion
Collaborate with Software Engineering on feasibility, complexity, dependencies and implementation approaches
Provide detailed requirements for development planning and execution
Participate in development planning, reviews and prioritisation discussions
Coordinate requirement clarification throughout the development lifecycle
Validate delivered functionality against business requirements and acceptance criteria
Improve dispatch processes, service-provider coordination, intelligent routing, operational visibility and customer experience
Monitor implemented solutions and gather feedback for continuous product improvement

Requirements

What you’ll need

5+ years of relevant experience in Product Ownership, Business Analysis, Product Management, Software Implementation or Customer Solutions within a technology or software environment
Demonstrated experience independently managing business requirements and translating them into functional product specifications
Strong experience working directly with customers and managing complex business requirements
Good understanding of software development methodologies, Agile environments and product development lifecycles
Experience with product backlogs, user stories, acceptance criteria and requirements documentation
Ability to communicate effectively with both business stakeholders and Software Engineering professionals
Strong commercial awareness and understanding of how product decisions affect customer value and business performance
Excellent analytical, organisational and problem-solving capabilities
Fluency in English
Experience in roadside assistance and vehicle recovery, insurance assistance and mobility services, fleet management and transportation, logistics/dispatch and route optimisation, or field service management and service-provider networks is advantageous
Ability to take initiative and assume ownership without continuous supervision
Ability to structure ambiguous requests into actionable requirements
Ability to challenge assumptions and propose alternative solutions
Ability to navigate between commercial discussions and technical conversations
Ability to balance customer satisfaction, technical feasibility and business value
