About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Develop and evolve enterprise web applications across the full application stack
Build and maintain complex web applications, system integrations, REST APIs and scalable backend services
Work with .NET Framework, .NET Core, .NET 6+, ASP.NET MVC, SQL Server, Entity Framework and Angular
Develop frontend features using Angular 16+, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, Bootstrap and/or Material UI
Integrate different systems, relational databases and backend services
Contribute to long-term technology projects for a well-established international organization

Requirements

What you’ll need

At least 5 years of professional experience with .NET technologies, including .NET Framework, .NET Core and .NET 6+
At least 5 years of experience with ASP.NET MVC and web application development
At least 3 years of hands-on Angular experience, preferably with recent versions such as Angular 16+
At least 3 years of frontend development experience using HTML5, CSS3 and JavaScript
Experience with responsive UI development using Bootstrap and/or Angular Material / Material UI
Experience with DOM manipulation, AJAX and jQuery
At least 5 years of Full Stack development experience
Strong experience building RESTful APIs and scalable backend services
At least 5 years of database development experience, particularly with SQL Server
Strong experience with Entity Framework / Entity Framework Core
Experience integrating relational databases with .NET applications
Previous experience with system integrations
Ability to work in a hybrid model in Lisbon, 2-3 days per week onsite
Portuguese professional working proficiency
Availability to start immediately or within a short notice period is highly valued
Preferred: experience with additional JavaScript frameworks or frontend libraries alongside Angular
Preferred: experience with newer .NET releases such as .NET 7, .NET 8 or later
Preferred: experience with Entity Framework Core 6+
Preferred: previous experience in large-scale enterprise environments
Preferred: experience working on projects with multiple external or internal system integrations
Preferred: strong understanding of software architecture, maintainability and application performance
