About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Lead business process discovery and design workshops
- Support business journey mapping and end-to-end process definition
- Translate business requirements into Oracle Retail capabilities
- Review and challenge requirements against Oracle Retail best practices
- Provide expertise across merchandising, pricing, promotions, inventory, and supply chain operations
- Work with Solution Architects to define target architecture
- Assess gaps and recommend process improvements
- Define functional requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria
- Support and validate configuration decisions
- Act as a trusted advisor to business and executive stakeholders
- Present solution options and impacts to senior stakeholders
- Support governance forums and design authority reviews
Requirements
What you’ll need- Minimum 6 years as an Oracle Retail Functional Consultant, Oracle Retail Solution Specialist, or Retail Domain Consultant
- Minimum 6 years of retail industry experience
- Deep knowledge of merchandising, pricing, inventory management, and retail operations
- At least 5 years of hands-on experience with Oracle Retail solutions
- Experience on large-scale Oracle Retail SaaS implementations and retail transformation programmes
- Proven track record leading business process discovery, journey mapping, and solution design workshops
- Experience translating business requirements into Oracle Retail solutions and best-practice process designs
- Strong gap analysis, solution assessment, and business process optimisation skills
- Strong stakeholder management skills with business, IT, and executive-level stakeholders
- Excellent communication, presentation, and workshop facilitation skills
- English at B2 level (Upper Intermediate) or above
- Based in or able to work hybrid from Porto
- Preferred: experience with promotions and supply chain processes within Oracle Retail
- Preferred: experience supporting governance forums and design authority reviews in large programmes
