About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Work with clients to understand their business and turn needs into buildable products
Map business processes and identify opportunities where AI can save time
Set up complete AI flows from data source through models and tooling to user interfaces
Build web and product features end to end, from data model to interface
Design data flows, extract and clean data, and make it useful
Build and operate AI features including retrieval, search, agents, recommendations and automated workflows
Implement evaluation and guardrails for AI features
Work with cloud platforms and infrastructure as code
Deploy, monitor and hand over production systems
Take prototypes to production and assess which should not proceed
Use AI tools in engineering work and help colleagues improve their usage
Explain technical trade-offs, assumptions and limitations to non-technical stakeholders
Collaborate in multidisciplinary teams with engineers, designers, business colleagues and clients

Requirements

What you’ll need

8+ years building and running software in production, ideally client-facing
Solid experience with cloud platforms such as Azure or AWS
Experience with infrastructure as code
Practical experience with data pipelines, warehouses and lakehouses
Microsoft Fabric, Databricks or similar is a plus
Strong TypeScript, C#, Java or Python
Hands-on experience putting AI into real products, including LLM APIs, retrieval, tooling and agents
Experience with evaluating AI features
Familiarity with CI/CD, observability and security
Comfort working directly with clients
Ability to communicate trade-offs, assumptions and limits to non-technical audiences
Empathetic, kind, patient and generous collaboration style
Swedish work permit required
