About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Support Global Mobility operations through process documentation, timely communications, and issue resolution.
  • Own global business travel processes and provide country-specific guidance, cost estimates, and timeline estimates.
  • Complete related internal service request tickets in partnership with external vendors.
  • Coordinate and review immigration questionnaires and filings, including business visa and work permit applications and renewals.
  • Partner with external vendors on business/work visas, permits, and permanent residency applications.
  • Prepare travel letters and support onboarding compliance documentation, including I-9 forms, for visa holders and business travelers.
  • Respond to inquiries from business leaders, employees, and vendors regarding immigration matters and case statuses.
  • Communicate immigration requirements, government procedures, costs, and timelines to HR partners, employees, and business leaders.
  • Monitor and maintain accurate immigration case and business travel records and reporting.
  • Create content for mobility webpages and knowledge articles.
  • Participate in global mobility projects, process improvements, and implementations.
  • Ensure compliance with Global Mobility policies, procedures, country laws, regulations, and employee benefits.
  • Network internally and with industry professionals to stay current on global mobility, immigration, compliance, cross-border tax, and business travel trends.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, human resources, legal studies, or related field.
  • 3–5 years of professional experience directly supporting immigration services and cross-border business travel.
  • Strong ability to work and execute effectively and autonomously within a virtual team spanning multiple time zones.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively and build trusted relationships with stakeholders across HR, operations, business leadership, and external vendor partners.
  • Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
  • Comfortable navigating ambiguity and explaining complex topics to non-experts.
  • Agile mindset focused on employee experience, process improvement, and confidentiality.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint; experience in remote-first environments.
  • Preferred: Experience with Workday, ServiceNow, Microsoft Office applications, and mobility/vendor platforms.
  • Preferred: Familiarity with immigration laws across multiple countries.
  • Relevant certifications such as SHRM, PHR/SPHR, GPHR, or GMS-T are a plus.
  • Prior experience in a global consulting or professional services firm is preferred.
