About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Lead Workday Talent, Performance, and Learning workstreams across implementation, optimization, and support engagements
- Provide functional leadership for Workday Talent and Performance, including employee reviews, calibrations, goal management, talent reviews, succession planning, and career development
- Provide functional leadership for Workday Learning, including learning content, campaigns, programs, curricula, enrollment management, learning assignments, compliance training, and reporting
- Lead design workshops and advise clients on leading practices, process simplification, future-state design, and Workday configuration decisions
- Own functional solution decisions and align Human Resources, Learning, Technology, and Program Leadership stakeholders
- Review and guide configuration, business process design, security, reporting, integrations touchpoints, and testing approaches
- Manage and mentor consultants and senior consultants through work direction, quality review, coaching, and delivery support
- Partner with cross-functional Workday teams on dependencies with Core HCM, Compensation, Recruiting, Absence, Security, Integrations, Reporting, and Change Management
- Establish and oversee test scenarios, use cases, defect triage, deployment readiness, and post-production support
- Develop executive-ready status updates, recommendations, decision materials, and client presentations
- Support change management, communication, training, and adoption planning
Requirements
What you’ll need- Talent & Performance certification and Learning certification are mandatory
- 7–10 years of relevant experience in Workday HCM
- Demonstrated expertise implementing, configuring, enhancing, and supporting Workday Talent, Performance, and Learning solutions
- Experience delivering multiple Workday Talent, Performance, and/or Learning implementations, enhancements, or optimization initiatives across key project phases
- Strong understanding of Talent and Performance processes, including employee reviews, calibrations, goals, succession planning, talent reviews, development planning, and reporting
- Strong understanding of Learning processes, including learning administration, content setup, campaigns, programs, assignments, enrollments, compliance learning, and learner experience
- Ability to lead client workshops, facilitate decision-making, manage stakeholder expectations, and translate business requirements into practical Workday solutions
- Demonstrated ability to manage workstream scope, timelines, risks, dependencies, deliverables, and quality across complex engagements
- Experience mentoring and reviewing the work of consultants and senior consultants
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, collaboration, and organizational skills
- Ability to operate effectively across cross-functional Workday and client teams
