About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Serve as the Epic Hospital Billing subject matter expert on client engagements
- Partner with operational and technical stakeholders to assess workflow needs and recommend Epic best-practice solutions
- Participate in client design sessions and translate business requirements into technical specifications
- Support Epic Hospital Billing optimization initiatives, including workflow design, build guidance, testing, and production deployment
- Complete Epic build directly or collaborate with client analysts to ensure solutions are implemented effectively
- Communicate with revenue cycle leadership and IT teams, tailoring messaging to each audience
- Contribute to broader project delivery, team collaboration, and long-term capability building within the practice
- Build lasting client partnerships and help healthcare organizations improve digital capabilities and clinical and financial outcomes
Requirements
What you’ll need- 5+ years of Epic experience, preferably with strong Epic Hospital Billing expertise, providing Epic consulting in hospitals and healthcare systems
- Current Epic Hospital Billing certification required
- Bachelor’s degree required
- Current permanent U.S. work authorization required
- Experience with Epic implementations, optimizations, or revenue cycle transformation projects
- Strong understanding of Epic Hospital Billing workflows, revenue cycle operations, and technical build processes
- Ability to recommend solutions and advise clients, not just execute assigned build
- Ability to travel based on client, enterprise, or project needs; current average travel is less than 50% annually
