About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Oversee teams performing revenue cycle functions across multiple clients
  • Support domestic business office staff with day-to-day time management, support-service questions, policy interpretation, and dissemination of new information
  • Communicate with client teams via phone, email, and instant messaging
  • Report to the Domestic Business Office leadership team
  • Own client-facing meetings, including agendas, issue logs, report packages, and supporting materials
  • Manage team metrics, individual productivity and quality measures, and client-specific service-level agreements
  • Collaborate on onboarding new clients, staff assignments, and point solutions, including system access, equipment, training, and onboarding expectations
  • Align staff to shifts covering client operating hours
  • Review and approve employee time, time off, billable time, and overtime
  • Create and maintain unit budgets and utilization KPIs, including project and client-specific budgets in Workday
  • Coordinate with RC Analytics and IT to maintain accurate reporting
  • Work with Human Resources and DBO leadership on performance escalations and attendance/time-reporting concerns

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Current permanent U.S. work authorization required
  • 5+ years of Revenue Cycle experience in a multi-facility, integrated health care delivery system or consulting experience preferred
  • 1+ years of leadership experience in a multi-facility, integrated health care delivery system or consulting experience preferred
  • Knowledge of accounting systems and insurance issues, healthcare industry issues and trends, legal issues in field of expertise, required third party and governmental guidelines, and work processing
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize initiatives, manage multiple initiatives, respond to communications timely, and create/manage project workplans
  • Strong analytical skills and demonstrated ability to interpret large data sets and translate outcomes into recommendations for improvement
  • Ability to work independently and be self-motivated
  • Flexible and adaptable to change
  • Comfort operating and making decisions in ambiguity
