About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Support Epic Revenue Cycle workflow and system configuration optimization
  • Complete and/or develop specifications for Epic build and testing activities
  • Optimize Real-Time Eligibility (RTE), including query chaining, benefit filing, and plan mapping
  • Support ASA table / Auto Status Assignment optimization for referrals
  • Assist with registration, authorization, and front-end workflow enhancements and automation
  • Optimize patient and referral workqueues and related Revenue Cycle processes
  • Partner with client IT teams to support implementation and testing
  • Help healthcare clients maximize EHR technology investments, improve care delivery, patient outcomes, and profitability

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Epic Prelude certification required
  • Hands-on Epic RTE experience required
  • Experience with Epic Revenue Cycle workflows, configuration, and optimization
  • Ability to work independently in a remote consulting environment
  • Ability to travel up to 25% for project milestones
  • Preferred: Epic RTE certification
  • Preferred: Epic Referrals certification
  • Preferred: Epic Grand Central certification
  • Preferred: Epic Cadence certification
  • Experience with registration automation, authorization rules, workqueue optimization, and default filing order automation
