About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Independently lead and drive Workday Finance engagements, ensuring successful delivery and client satisfaction
- Serve as a solution architect and delivery leader across estimation, planning, and execution
- Act as Engagement Leader/Project Manager, managing multiple projects of varying scale and duration simultaneously
- Collaborate with client and internal senior leaders to design and implement goal-achieving solutions
- Build and maintain strong, trust-based client relationships as a primary customer-facing representative
- Translate complex business requirements and meeting discussions into clear documentation
- Support pre-sales activities, including RFP responses, solution proposal development, and estimation
- Train and mentor staff in project management and technical areas
- Demonstrate thought leadership through speaking engagements, publications, or industry forums
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent work experience
- Proven experience in Workday Finance implementations, with a track record of successful delivery leadership
- Workday Finance certification (mandatory)
- Strong functional expertise in the Finance domain, with the ability to architect and deliver solutions independently
- Experience with estimating, implementation planning, and project management
- Exposure to pre-sales, RFP processes, and solution proposal development
- Excellent oral and written communication skills, with strong interpersonal ability to build trust and collaboration quickly
- Ability to establish credibility with senior-level, financially literate executives through expertise, maturity, and professionalism
- Strong analytical skills to translate discussions into actionable documentation
- Willingness and ability to travel as required and work extended hours when necessary
- Demonstrated thought leadership through speaking engagements and/or publications (preferred)
- Experience in consulting environments, preferably with exposure to large-scale transformation projects
