About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Execute technical ownership of Bills of Materials, ensuring structural integrity, component traceability, and alignment with engineering changes.
  • Assist in developing and maintaining detailed product cost models and support cost reduction initiatives.
  • Support Engineering Change Request and Engineering Change Notice cycles.
  • Define assembly process flows, line requirements, and manufacturing documentation.
  • Support process validations and failure analysis arising from process deviations.
  • Help define technical specifications for production equipment and materials and track procurement activities.
  • Develop and update assembly line capacity models using yields and process times.
  • Execute technical transference of validated processes from R&D labs to high-volume manufacturing sites.
  • Travel to Asia, Europe, and the Americas for on-site manufacturing technology support, process debugging, yield improvement, and failure analysis.
  • Assist with equipment transfer logistics, including shipping, installation, and qualification.
  • Integrate R&D and Manufacturing teams and ensure engineering decisions are applied in production.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor's Degree in Production, Telecommunications, Electric, or Mechatronic Engineering.
  • Minimum of 3–5 years in Product/Process Engineering in high-complexity industries.
  • Knowledge of PMI or ASQ frameworks (e.g., CAPM, Green Belt) is a plus.
  • Part of work time involves on-site visits to manufacturing and partner locations; remainder is local or remote.
  • Solid knowledge in NPI, equipment/materials management, capacity planning, and production failure analysis.
  • Experience with PLM systems and JMP/Minitab.
  • Technical knowledge in Python, C#, and/or LabVIEW is desirable.
  • Portuguese: Native.
  • English: Mandatory — Advanced/Fluent (B2/C1 level).
  • Spanish: Bilingual — Desirable.
  • Resilience to resolve technical issues under pressure in remote factory environments.
  • Drive to find creative solutions to optimize assembly lines and identify root causes with the engineering team.
  • Active participation in team knowledge sharing and continuous personal development in complex NPI environments.
