About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Conduct patient outreach and follow-up for patients approved for specialty services
- Guide patients through next steps and ensure outstanding items are completed
- Support provider scheduling, availability management, and rescheduling
- Process payments accurately
- Ensure orders, consent forms, and consultations are complete before patient visits
- Maintain current and organized lab results, orders, and patient records
- Answer inbound calls regarding missed appointments and patient questions
- Provide general administrative support and take on new responsibilities as the company grows
- Work 5 shifts per week, Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM
Requirements
What you’ll need- High school diploma required
- 1–2 years in an administrative or scheduling role
- Experience in an administrative, scheduling, or customer service role
- Strong organizational skills and ability to juggle multiple priorities
- Excellent communication skills by phone and in writing
- Familiarity with scheduling or e-commerce platforms such as BLVD or Shopify is a plus
- Comfort learning new tools and software, including spreadsheets
- Calm, adaptable approach to a fast-paced, changing environment
- Initiative and ability to work independently or as part of a team
- Strong time management and critical thinking skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Reliable internet access and a quiet, dedicated workspace for patient calls
- Ability to sit for prolonged periods and work on a computer
